When I sat down to write this post, and looked at my steps, I was at 11,963. I hopped up . . told Vince I was going outside to walk 37 more steps. I will get a few more steps in this evening but right now I’m at 12,098, which happens to be 4.64 miles. That’s a far cry from Monday when I walked 5,676 and told Vince getting in 7,500 steps per day was going to be impossible.
Breakfast was an egg, half a bagel and a small sliver of buckboard bacon.
Don’t worry about that portion. I had already eaten half of it before I remembered I forgot to take a picture. This is the recipe I used and Vince asked if we could have it at last once a week. I only used half the tofu I had made so I will make it again this weekend just to use up the tofu. It was really good!
Tonight I had the rest of the tuna/okara salad that was left, along with a few crackers and some carrots.
I’m not feeling hungry at all.
I lost .4 pounds, which they have me as having lost 9.4 pounds total but yesterday they had me at 9.2 pounds and another .4 should be 9.6 but I’m not going to worry about it. Once I lose 3.4 more pounds I will reach my first goal and that’s what matters.

My son and I went and walked the 3.8 mile loop at the state park. It’s hilly and I probably haven’t walked it in over 15 years. I probably won’t be able to move tomorrow. I thought 1 hour and 10 minutes was pretty darn good! Not sure if it was enough to cancel out the Halloween candy I’ve eaten the last 2 days, thought. 🙂

WOW, Judy, you are on a roll!! Good for you! That recipe actually sounds pretty good even though I’ve never had a tofu dish I cared for. Might hafta try it!!

In my opinion thrift stores are the best place to buy jeans. They are all broken in, you know exactly how they will fit, there are many many styles available and the purchase price goes to a good cause. Win win win.

Is the okra in your salad raw and/or pickled?

Okara . . not okra.
