Our conversations, especially our early morning conversations, sometimes crack me up. We see everything differently. I understand where he’s coming from with his thoughts but I’m not sure he ever understands my thoughts but that’s ok . . I’m not sure I understand my thoughts.
I don’t know why I look at the long range forecast. It’s rarely right and even if it is . . it is what it is and it doesn’t even matter really but this morning I was looking at our weather way out in the future.
Here’s our conversation:
Me: Oh . . 25 and ice!
Vince: I need to buy some bales of straw.
Me: Maybe 2 days in a row!
Vince: If all the people decorating for Halloween haven’t already bought it all.
Me: They say we may have a cold winter.
Vince: The propane guy will be getting my whole paycheck!
Me: I can wear my sweaters and my socks!
Vince: I need to get firewood on the porch . . remind me again in a month or so.
Me: And we can have soup and gumbo!
Vince: I need to put the heat lamp in the well house. Remind me.
Vince is thinking about all he has to get done before winter and I’m thinking of sitting in my chair, with my knitted sweaters and socks . . knitting more in front of a cozy, warm fire!
Poor Vince! 🙂

I see nothing wrong with your plans for cold weather. Vince can probably do those outside chores more efficiently. 🙂 That’s always my thoughts, anyway at our farm! ha

About the only time I look ‘long range’ (and that’s like 2 weeks out!!), it’s because I’m going out of town and hope the weather is nice where I’m going!! You guys are such goofies!! LOL

I love it! LOL, marriage is great, and I miss it. I look about 15 days out, that’s all I can really handle. =)
