Vince went outside and if he told me what he was doing, I didn’t hear him. After a while, I heard the tiller. I thought . . WOW! He’s tilling up my garden and I didn’t even have to ask (and ask and ask!). I had already showed him where I was going to plant the fall garden and that’s where we dumped the rabbit poop we picked up the other day. I walked outside with Speck and there he was . . NOT in the garden tilling.
He had talked about planting a food plot for the deer and I’m so happy to see him doing that.
It’s way bigger than I thought he was going to till up. I assure you if I planted one bean plant outside my fenced in garden, the deer would find it.
We’re so lucky to have such good dirt here. Too bad the well water screws up the pH so badly but now that we know that, we can amend the soil every year and be good. This soil has never had well water so whatever Vince plants . . it’s going to outshine my garden but I guess I’d rather have venison than carrots or beets!

That’s funny. So what are you planting? Do you think you should put a low fence around it so they know it’s okay to steal from there? LOL
