Addie missed the cutoff for the 4 year old pre-school by just a few days so she’s in the same class she was in last year. She was one of the youngest in last year’s class so this year, she’ll think she’s top dog with the same teachers, same programs . . and she may try to take over and tell the teachers how to run the show but I’m sure they’ve encountered that before.
She only goes a couple of hours two days a week so it’s fun for Addie and gives Nicole a break. But . . how on earth did she grow up so quickly? Wasn’t it just yesterday that she was a baby?
Just when I think I’m ok staying in Texas for a while longer, Nicole sends me a picture like this and I want to be there for her first days of school (and the second and third and 100th days!)
By the way, Nicole and I once made pompoms for some hats and Addie fell in love with pompoms and the pompom makers. I think her backpack has lots of pompoms. You can see a couple of them sticking out in the picture.

They do grow up fast….and so eager to get out in the world. I can’t believe my twin grandchildren will be three later this month!
