You know how sometimes children grow so fast and they seem to go through that stage when it looks like they’re all legs? Chickens do the same thing.

The four chickens that hatched a while back are almost adults now but the’re at that stage where every time I look at them, I think “I hope your body grows so those legs don’t look so long!”
You can see an adult chicken in the background and see that her legs don’t look nearly so long.

This picture looks like synchronized chicken walking. Look how they both have their legs in the same position.

Maybe I should get a little chicken marching band together!
I’m not sure if their legs look so long because their bodies are smaller, or because they just need fluffier feathers or, maybe their legs are just long!
There are no mirrors out there so hopefully they haven’t noticed they look a little weird.

Looks like they have a pair of high water pants on!! HA Remember when you outgrew your pants just in the length? So embarrassing! And that chicken has swirly tail feathers, too, which makes it look even different. Poor chicken.
