I didn’t really do much cooking while they were here. Before they got here last Friday, I smoked a pork butt and then froze what was leftover so we have that in the freezer. We had hot dogs for lunch one day and Vince cooked several packs of buns on the grill and we have those. We grilled burgers one day and had leftover burgers. I fixed venison, rice, corn and we have some of that left over. I baked a ham and we have that left. I fixed corned beef in the pressure cooker and we have that left so if I play my cards right, I may not have to cook at all for the next 5 or 6 days.
The Stage Four tour-de-sock has to be finished by tomorrow night. I think I can do it! Yesterday after Chad and Nicole left, I had only gotten a few rows past the cuff. My goal for yesterday/last night was to get the cuff turned. I got just a tad farther so I’m hoping to get finished today so I can get some progress made on my July Camp Loopy project.
I’m a little concerned about running out of yarn but I do seem to get nervous often towards the end and so far, have never run out so I’ll just keep on knitting and see what happens.
Next tour-de-sock pattern (#5 of 6) comes out Monday.

This has nothing to do with knitting but I saw a recipe for Fig and Pepper Bread today and wondered if you had ever tried it. I just googled it to see recipe because I had read about it in a book I was reading. I know you like figs.
