Yesterday Chad and Nicole went driving around the “neighborhood” taking pictures of anything and everything that caught their eyes. Looking at their pictures reminds me of the things that I see every day that no longer stand out as “different” but I can see how they’re quite interesting for those who don’t see them every day.
This wind mill must be producing power for a well since I see that tank there.
The tunas are forming and it won’t be long before they’re bright red and ready for harvesting.
The Colorado River .. with water . . a wonderful scene!
Even Chad’s weed picture looks interesting. We have plenty of those.
What’s Texas scenery without a deer?
Wildlife is everywhere . . I prefer the kind that isn’t slithering on the ground or waiting to sting me!
Not exactly native to Texas (I suppose) but these guys live not far from my house.
Not native to Texas and not found in Texas very often but my favorite!!

You surely know how to make me homesick. =) Are you going to make prickly pear jelly? The way I’ve always done it, it’s a two person job, Paul to do the hard part and me to do the easy part. LOL So I don’t make it any more, even though my neighbor down the street has a big patch, and is clueless about using the fruit.
