Pink Boots

Little thinkgs make me so happy. Like .. a little pair of pink boots!

You all should be so happy to see that there are no flip flops in that “outdoor shoe” lineup. In fact, at the current time, except for my dress up, nice flip flops, which I hardly even wear any more, I don’t even own a pair of flip flops. My favorite ones broke a few months ago and I didn’t replace them.

I walk out the door, grab my rubber boots, shake them out and that’s what I wear pretty much any time I’m outside unless I’m just going from the house to the shop and, since that’s all gravel, I’ll just wear something I can slip on – crocs, or slippers.

With Addie coming, she has to have shoes she can wear outside but not inside because our shoes get grass burrs in them and then if we wear them inside, the burrs get in the rugs and then we step on them barefooted and that hurts! So, when I was out running errands, I ran by Tractor Supply to get her some boots that can be easily slipped on and off and can be left at the door.

They’re in place and waiting for a her to arrive (still a few days) but that little pair of $14 pink boots sure does make me smile when I walk in and out that door!
