I’ve written to several of you but I see several more of you on the newbies to the group.
Want to be on my team? If so, go to the “I Want to be Wanted” forum and ask if you can be placed on Team MC-1. Don’t worry that it’s moderately competitive . . no one keeps track.
it really isn’t “MY” team. I asked to be placed on a team and that’s where I was assigned. Last time I checked, there were 3 members and I think we can have 8 members.

Judy, we have met and I love you to the moon and back. I no longer knit as I have no need here in the Palm Springs area for sweaters. A light weight cotton jacket takes me thru the winter. Shoes are my biggest problem cause I wear at least a size 12 or bigger. Growing up, before I was a quilter, I knitted all the time ( a teenager then) wool ski sweaters and more. I grew up in the San Francisco area…winters 55 years ago..I needed ski sweaters. I miss knitting. I quilt like crazy. I used to make my own clothes, even made my wedding dress. I still do needlepoint, but quilting is my favorite. I learned (thank you Mom) to sew as a child and have sewn ever since. I introduced my mom to quilting . Our grandaughter wrote a paper about our time together when we spent time together and she made her first small lap quilt. I quilted it and she still loves it. Continue to bring tis into the life of your grands.
I hope you can teach Addie to quilt! What memories can be made!

I just joined TDS. It looks like fun – and I really want to support Doctors Without Borders. However, I work part time, and am not a particularly fast knitter – can I be a cheerleader for your group?
I tried to read some things on revelry, but still feel a little confused.
I love reading your blog – every bit of it, and am inspired by all your knitting.

I was out of town over the weekend where there was no internet and just read about TDS last evening. I joined and paid the fee and was wondering the best way to request your team if there are still openings. Sounds like fun and a good way to keep me motivated to finish and stay on track.
