Yesterday Nicole was wanting some of Chad’s good tuna salad or chicken salad so he smoked chicken, made chicken salad.
With homemade bread and chicken salad, of course you need homemade mayonnaise.
I was telling Vince about it and he said “I guess he learned a lot from you!” That makes a mom feel good!

And now I’m very hungry!!!!! Chad reminds me of our #2 son who also shares many of my traits (love of baking, etc). It truly does warm a body’s heart!!!!!!

Actually, the Dr. Pepper belongs to Nicole. Chad is not a soda drinker. Probably the best thing he learned from me . . soda is not good! 🙂

Excellent!
I thought maybe this would be about biscuits, as I just watched a “Good Eats” about the pride taken in biscuits, AND he used the terms “Southern” and “Northern” flour! It was all new to this westerner.

My grandmother made the best mayonnaise and I have lost the recipe. It was so good on fresh tomatoes.

My son in law smoked a turkey and brought us turkey salad. We ate part of it and then I froze some for when I have a taste for it again. It was terrific.
