There are so many flashlights out there and several that I love for one reason or another. This one, I’ve loved for a long time and didn’t realize how much I loved it til it went out recently. When mine went out, we began looking for another one and it was kinda hard to find but we found them at Amazon. You can get one here or three here. It’s $19.99 for one or $49.99 for three. I’m thinking these would make great Christmas gifts and it’s never too early to start buying gifts!
I love this particular light because:
- It plugs into the wall, and the wall plug in part is a charger so it’s always charged.
- It has a sensor so at night, when someone or some thing walks past it, the light comes on.
- If the power goes out, it automatically lights up.
- It can shine out the end like a regular flashlight or has a pretty bright LED panel on the side so you can turn it on its side and let it shine.
In Kentucky, we lost power fairly often so we had these in several places throughout the house. In MO, I had them plugged in here and there. When we moved here, there’s a little short hallway on the side of the house where the two extra bedrooms are and there was no overhead light in that hallway. We had the electrician add an overhead light but Vince gave directions on where to put the switch and it’s in the middle of the hallway. He was thinking it would be easily accessible from both bedrooms but for the most part, I go down that hall from the family room and the switch is halfway down the hall. It isn’t that I’m afraid of the dark but the floors are dark wood and with Rita’s bad bathroom habits and scorpions . . I do not like walking in the dark. By the way, Rita has not had an y accidents in the house in several months. I know what will happen now that I’ve said that but I’m thinking she’s pretty darned trustworthy.
When we moved here, I searched and searched through boxes looking for this little flashlight and finally found one. I know we had at least 6 in MO. Who wants to bet that Chad has 5 of them at his house?
The one here went out a week or so ago and I asked Vince to change the battery for me but he said it was more than just changing the battery so he found them on Amazon and ordered more.
I had forgotten how much I relied on that little light in the hallway and am most happy to have it back!

we have similar flashlights purchased several (15?) years ago at costco. there have been several revisions thru the years as we often give them as housewarming gifts. about $20 for a two pack. great for those power outages plus there’s always one nearby when we need ectra light. best thing is that as soon as you pick it up it turns on.
