This year’s garden must be trying to make up for last year’s bad garden. I’m not sure I can have asparagus or snow peas one more time! Tonight I’m fixing a pot of pinto beans and I’m looking so forward to those. I kept trying to figure out a way that snow peas would go with brisket but we’ve had snow peas every meal for . . well, it seems like for months but I know it hasn’t been.
Snow Peas
Vince isn’t coming home for lunch today so I was looking forward to sitting in my chair and knitting, but then I noticed all those snow peas that desperately need picking so I think I’ll be picking, blanching and freezing snow peas most of the day.

we live in a much different climate and don’t have a greenhouse. snowpeas just got planted this week. i’m jealous and would love to have enough to freeze.
