Nicole and I were talking about salads – how much we love them but how often we get busy with dinner and forget to make the salads and I was telling her about making salads in jars. I tracked down a couple of old blog posts (here’s one) and she was all excited to try it. I love her enthusiasm.
Vaccum Sealer Tools
We headed off to Walmart to buy the supplies. They had the hand held vacuum sealer but not the jar lid attachment so I had to order that. It arrived yesterday and so far, we haven’t had time to make salads yet but that should happen later today.
Nicole has so little room in her kitchen, and Chad already fusses at me for all the “stuff” (not his words) that I bring here, so we decided to make a bag, use a Command hook, and Nicole can hang her vaccum seal goodies on the side of the fridge (between the fridge and the wall).

We should be all set to make the salads . . after we get home from an egg hunt.
