While looking for something on the blog, I came across some funny pictures. Some of these are from 2010 and 2009 so, some of you may recognize them, but they made me laugh and I figured they were worth sharing.
Silly Vince
Vince was planting fruit trees in MO. The first thing I noticed was GREEN. Green grass. Green trees. Green weeds. I miss GREEN.
Visitors
I remember this incident. The turtles were probably thinking . . what on earth are those red things that make so much noise? The chickens were probably thinking . . playmates!
Deer
There were always deer in our yard in MO. They were pretty tame, as far as deer go, but they were safe. No shooting inside the city limits.
Oops!
Moving day for the pretty purple chicken coop didn’t go exactly as planned.
Coop
Just a few dings and a bit of grass under the eaves but it was fine.
These were just a few pictures that made me smile and reminisce.

I am always gobsmacked when I see how how much space you folks have. And am rather jealous! The price of land here in New Zealand precludes us ordinary folk from owning much more than a mowing strip around the house. Enjoy.
