When we were out of town the other day, we stopped at an HEB. For those not familiar with HEB, it’s a pretty neat grocery store chain and I think they’re mostly in Texas but not every town has one. We do not and, as you know, that makes it more desirable and it’s a thrill to get to go to one.
HEB Soda
When we were there the other day, they had their own brand of soda in a couple of special flavors. This one is like a fruit punch and I love that it’s made with cane sugar and not corn syrup.

I didn’t know. I did know about the soda, though. We spent a lot of time in TX when we were on the road. HEB is a very nice chain. But I’d rather have Aldi. =)

Love the HEBs!!!!! In Harlingen/& area we have several!!! 1 is HUGE!!! We tend to prefer the ones off the beaten path. The store brands (of every product we’ve tried) are superior to anything we’ve found elsewhere! I always look for cane sugar, as opposed to corn syrup, also and have been pleased with the HEB brands. We will miss the produce especially (when we head north the end of March—-insert sad face).
