Vince was going to pick up more medicine for whatever he has and instead of me having to go to out and pick up seed potatoes and onions, and risk an unscheduled stop at Tractor Supply to look at those cute, cuddly, enthusiastic little chicks . . no, not to buy any . . just look . . I asked Vince if he would stop and get my seed potatoes and onions.
I told him I wanted enough potatoes to plant about 40 plants and depending on how many “eyes” they had, he could get however many potatoes. He asked about the onions . . “About 50?” I said “No, a few more. We use a lot of onions.” How many do you think he came home with?
560 onions! 560 onions to be planted! My plan was to plant half of them yesterday and the rest of them today but I got started early yesterday afternoon and said . . what the heck . . I’ll do them all and be done with it.
It’s good to be done with them but it was a lot of work. New rule at our house: You buy it . . you plant it! 🙂
Poor Vince, he’s still sick and even though he’s back to work, he feels awful. If he had felt better, I would have mad him out there helping me.
We should have plenty of onions to share some with my friends who give me rabbit poop for the garden, and share some with a friend who helps me in the garden. Just hoping for a good crop!

ROFLOL -thank goodness you didn’t send him for chicks! You’re going to have to can a whole lot of French onion soup I think. 🙂

Sending Vince to the store is dangerous!! Sorry to hear he’s not feeling much better yet. But even when he doesn’t feel good he’s still a power shopper!
