Either what I had wasn’t just allergies gone crazy or maybe Vince caught something else but he’s sick. I had to laugh last night. When I’m sick, I don’t want food, I don’t want company . . I want to sleep alone and be left alone. Vince, on the other hand, wants to sit in the chair and make sure I know how bad he feels. Maybe he was torturing me for sharing my illness with him. I told him . . five days of feeling terrible and you’ll begin to think you might survive, so he went to the doctor this morning. I don’t think he could stand to think about feeling so bad for five days. He didn’t get shots but he got three prescriptions, a little different from the ones I got, and I finally convinced him to go to bed after lunch. The doctor did tell him that rest was the bet medicine. Vince isn’t able to sleep like I can sleep so I hope he will get some rest.
Even though in my head I know I’m very blessed to feel good almost all the time, and have excessive energy, I don’t always appreciate it like I should until after having felt bad for a few days. I’m definitely appreciating feeling good again.
This morning I was out feeding the worms, watering the garden, gathering eggs, playing with Boots and cleaning a bit in the sewing room. Then I came in, cleaned up, have some bread rising, have some cream cheese out coming to room temp so I can make a cheesecake . . it feels good to feel good and I hope Vince is feeling better soon!

I think it’s a guy thing…hope he feels better soon, and doesn’t drive you crazy in the meantime! My Hitofude is slowly progressing. I think I’m on the 4th pattern repeat on the arms/upper body. I just don’t have enough knitting time in a day!

I hope Vince feels better soon! Glad you are on the road to recovery. Somehow, I think it is a generic guy/female thing. When hubby is sick he wants an audience and to be waited on. When I am sick, I want to hibernate and I will let you know when I need something. And if I act like that -HE gets all insulted! LOL

There’s nothing worse than man flu!

Like you Judy I think it is a vareint of some kind of flue. But it might have been the cold spell that brought in cedar pollen from your neck of the woods. It didn’t feel like allergies to me.I was way to sick for allergies this early. My hubby got it first and he never has allergies then I came down 3 days later. Doctor said could be something the flu shot didn’t cover. So none of us will ever know for sure I guess.
I hope Vince listens to you and gets well fast. A man sick is worst then an a child. Just bring on the Vicks , humidifer and drugs. And make loads of you chicken soup.Loads of vitiman C too.
Take care and don’t over do it yourself you don’t want a repeat. I’m waiting for the other foot to drop now . The pine tress here they are the ones that give me a fit and will bloom any day.Yuck….
