Saturday morning I got ready to fix breakfast and I thought . . hmm . . we have French bread and we have rye bread but the French bread was for lunch and I didn’t want rye bread with eggs for breakfast. I really had meant to make bread Friday and got sidetracked and never thought about it again til I was getting ready to fix breakfast Saturday morning.
I remembered there were flour tortillas in the fridge but when I got them out . . I guess they had been there longer than I remembered. Sell by 10/10/15. That’s probably long enough ago that I wouldn’t want to use them. I briefly thought about making pancakes but I really wanted scrambled eggs in a flour tortilla so I decided to make flour tortillas – flour, salt, water, oil . . that’s easy enough.
That worked! Eggs, bacon, cheese and green onions. Vince uses salsa but I don’t like that on my eggs.
Breakfast is the only meal where everyone gets something just a little different.
In the back are eggs for the dogs – no seasonings. Front left are Vince’s eggs – he gets salt and pepper in his. On the right front are my eggs. I get Slap Ya Mama for my only seasoning. And, I mostly don’t eat the whites so the dogs get the whites from my eggs.
Sunday morning . . I still didn’t make bread so I think we’ll have blueberry pancakes for breakfast!

Egg burritos are a delicious breakfast! My favorite is with breakfast sausage, but as I only have one package left from the butcher, I’ve been hoarding it!
