Last night while watching football with Vince, I finished the Pathfinder Fingerless Mitts. These are going to a friend.
Any time I buy yarn for a sweater, I always buy one skein extra for several reasons:
- To get a sweater quantity, I’m probably buying enough to get free shipping and I’d hate to need one more skein and have to pay shipping on it.
- Sometimes it’s a long time between ordering the yarn and making the sweater so there’s always the possibility I couldn’t get more yarn if I needed it.
These mittens are a great way to use up about 150 – 170 yards of worsted weight yarn so . . a hat or mittens are good ways to use up extra yardage. I liked this pattern and will use it again.
