December in Texas! Low tonight will be 53º. High today will be 76º. The rest of the week will have similar weather. In fact, we’ll have a couple of weeks of this type of weather.
Despite needing to finish Hitofude, I spent the whole day outside yesterday. I started working in the greenhouse – pulled out all the turmeric and replanted some of it. Then I cleaned up the ginger and repotted some of that. Then I went into the garden and planned to plant some lettuce but by the time I was done, I had planted several kinds of lettuce, kale, a couple of different kinds of beets, spinach, cabbage, carrots and chard.
This is a spot that has had lots of rabbit poop added so I’m hoping for a great crop. Time will tell . .

All my preaching and talking about turmeric, I have never thought about growing it. Might have to do some research on that.
