While visiting with Chad and Nicole, we got to talking about when Chad was 5 and we took him to see Gallagher and Chad ended up on stage with Gallagher. Not something most families would do with a 5 year old but, he survived and turned out ok . . if you ask me! 🙂
I’ll be the first to admit that twerking is probably not something a good family would be teaching their 3 year old but ..
Chad had found a video and he wanted to show me. We were laughing and saying . . really, it would be such good exercise. Addie was so not paying attention to what was on the video, til Chad, Nicole and I were laughing hysterically! I was saying . . Nicole, we can do that! 🙂
Then Addie got in on the action and decided . . yes . . Mom, Granny and I can all do it. I managed to get talk myself out of it but I had tears rolling down my face.
They’re watching and taking it all in . . ready to begin.
It didn’t take Addie long watching the video to decide this is a dance to be done without clothes so .. off with her clothes.
And if she’s taking off her clothes . . so is her mama. Oh, I’m so glad Granny is not included in this dance!
Next step in being a good twerker requires having a yoga mat but, the halway rug will have to suffice.
Here we go . . I think we have this down.
Let’s just hope she forgets this little exercise before she gets to be a teenager! And, if she doesn’t forget, mom and dad can be thanked for introducing this to her! 🙂

I would worry more about when she goes to school! Think of the raised eyebrows when she tells her kindergarten teacher that mommie taught her that dance.. LOL

I don’t think she remembers it. And, she never knew what it was called so hopefully there won’t be any raised eyebrows.
