Last week, the seller/shipper of the used spinning wheel I had purchased that was damaged in shipping let me know that she had received full payment from UPS. They paid the full insured amount plus what I had paid them for the shipping/insurance so that was a great outcome. A new wheel has been ordered and I think the shipping date is December 18. That means there’s a good chance I’ll have it for Christmas.
It’s impossible to get a good picture in front of that window. The light that comes in is great when I’m spinning or rug hooking. This is how the end of the dining room looks . . not good. I need to clean and re-arrange one of the extra bedrooms and get the spinning wheels moved in there . . or convince my husband that I need another room. 🙂

So glad the Spinning Wheel saga has been resolved. Maybe I should take a picture of my craft room. A miniature quilt on the sewing table waiting to be finished so it can be hand quilted, a rug on the frame waiting patiently for me to hook, a punch needle project in the works, some hand appliqué startled, and two finished cross stitch projects waiting for me to place in the frames I purchased two weeks ago. Other than that there isn’t much going on in this room. I also have my large rug hooking frame in the Study. Yep, it is possible to out grow a craft room that began as a quilting room. So if you do convince that sweet husband you need another room think “Texas Size”.

That was really weighing on me. I felt like it would be resolved in a favorable to me way but til it was done, it wasn’t done! I’m thinking a gymnasium size room would be great but I don’t see that happening!

yes, another room would be great – LOVE the look of your spinning wheels, they are so pretty I want one just to sit in the corner, but then I would want to use it and I really only knit socks, cause its too hot here for sweaters….

At our age, really . . I don’t need to be adding another room. I’d love it but I doubt we do it. Spinning is so relaxing!

No reason a room can’t do double duty. And your setup looks so neat and organized. I’d stay there in the middle of the action.
Our dining room serves as a multipurpose room, wish it was as neat as yours.

Just what is the likelihood of building another room, or moving a mobile home office building onto your property? LOL

Have you purchased sheep yet Judy?? I would absolutely LOVE to have my own sheep and spin my own yarn…. Wonder if my hubby would notice a few sheep in with my horses??? Why the multiple wheels? Are you purchasing roving??

Great news I’m so glad they did what was right. Maybe there is someone who does what is right. Now as far as the room problem well, that is a different story. Maybe rearrange things or take some thing out you aren’t using right now. Show us photos so maybe we can help. Hey better yet go on Better homes and Garden website and rearrange on their page of stuff .I’ve found it is better that shoving it and seeing it won’t fit. Now that a new one is coming you’ve got to use it in the living where Vince is he might get into using it too. Seems kike he is interested in it.
