I’ve read that making burgoo is a three day job and I believe it.
Saturday, day 1, I boiled and shredded the pork and lamb. The broth from both was saved for the soup. Leftover turkey will also go into the mix.
Notice the two jars in the back, I’ll write a post about them later.
Sunday, day 2, I chopped some of the veggies.
The beans were washed and put on to soak.
There are more veggies to chop . . lots more to do and I’m hoping to get that all done today and . . get everything canned. Wish me luck.

You are the reason I just ordered a pressure cooker, my first ever. I’m excited to begin using it to make quick yet healthy meals or sides.
