When it comes to weather, I’m a chronic complainer. You know how much I complain about the 110+ degree temps in the summer. The last couple of mornings, instead of running out to open the chicken coops wearing just what I slept in, I had to grab sweat pants, put on socks and shoes instead of flip flops and Wednesday morning, I even wore a jacket. As I went out with Rita during the day, wearing a short sleeved shirt and flip flops, I caught myself thinking “Darn . . I don’t like cold weather!” I know . . my friends in Wisconsin and Minnesota and such places are laughing at me. What I don’t like is having to put on a jacket, then take it off, then put it on, then take it off so most of the time, I just shiver through it and don’t ever put on the jacket.
This weekend, our lows both Saturday and Sunday nights are predicted to be 27º and feel like 25º.
I’ve already been able to wear my Kynance Cove sweater once and I wore it to the chiropractor this morning.
Saturday I’m going out again so I’ll get to wear a sweater again. Maybe I’ll wear Pixelated Pullover.
We just don’t get enough sweater wearing weather so I’ll enjoy it and I’ll stop complaining about being cold.
At least our heater is working . . I wasn’t sure that was going to happen, and we have firewood so we’re ready for winter.

You can come wear your sweaters at my house too. The first snow is supposed to come in with a vengeance tonight – anywhere from 3 to 10 inches – crazy since we haven’t even had any frost that I’ve seen and just this week I finally pulled out my polar fleece jacket rather than wearing the spring one. Haven’t had to pull out the heavy woolen one or turn the heat on yet so I’m not complaining — well at least not complaining until Saturday when I find out how much snow is outside my door. 🙂 Guess I’ll have to pull the sweaters out of their storage containers this weekend.

You made me smile, but only because I feel exactly the same way! I’m already winter-grumpy and we haven’t even hit the 40s for highs yet and Sunday night will be the first night to drop below 32 – but I don’t like it! At least you have made pretty sweaters to wear.

Ewww, I’m right there with ya! HATE the cold, that’s one of the reasons I get seriously depressed when we go back to standard time rather than daylight savings..that’s a sure fire clue that winter’s coming. UGH!

We’re going to get a winter blast here. Not as much as up north of us. But I hate the same thing putting on and taking off the coat, scarf & gloves. Walking the dog was much chillier than I like. Lovely sweaters!!

87 here in the Palm Springs area. Had to dig back into summer clothes-shorts and tee. Love the cooler weather. And 87 is cool after our long, hot summer! Bring on winter and RAIN – desperate for rain here in CA!

Yep– don’t want to hear it!! I’m in Wisconsin and we got over a foot of snow yesterday. Today the temps plummeted to 14 degrees (on my morning dog walk).
=(
I’ve got my parka on and would be so happy to wear a light jacket.
