Winter At My House

It’s been a week of hat making. First, I finished the Esme Hat.

Then I saw this Ho! Ho! Hat and wanted to make one for Addie. Then I thought .. Addie would love it if her mommy had a matching hat, and then I thought . . Chad will feel left out if he doesn’t get one so I’m about to finish up the third one. Don’t you think Chad is going to be so thrilled to get one of these?

I still have to add the chain stitch “buckle” and the pom poms but I hope to finish all of them today.  The pattern calls for Super Bulky yarn and the yarn I bought is Bulky so I found a bulky hat pattern and pretty much used that. Also, the Ho! Ho! pattern has garter stitch around the brim and I wanted ribbing so I changed it to ribbing. They’re going to be so cute!

OK I’m hooked. Where do you get these patterns? I’m heading out to the yarn store tomorrow.
