This morning’s first project was to get the binding on the quilt I did yesterday so I could get it washed and dried. I must have used all the greenish fabric for the border. There’s a vein of blue running through it so I found a good blue to use.
I wouldn’t say I dread doing binding but it isn’t my favorite step of making a quilt. What’s not to like about putting the final step on finishing a quilt . . especially when there’s an enthusiastic helper making the job so much easier harder.
The binding didn’t get finished . . but the chicken coops are clean and that’s a job I really don’t like doing but it’s so nice to have it done and know I don’t have to do it again for a month or so.

Boots takes is job as quilting assistant very seriously. That’s such a cute picture of him.

A little weight on the binding helps hold it down so it doesn’t escape… 🙂
