The morning was spent piddling outside. It was cloudy and cool . . perfect for working outside. I should have cleaned up the chicken coops a bit but I didn’t . . I need to do that before it gets cold . . and you know that cold in central Texas isn’t really cold at all but I’ve grown quite used to the warm winters and a little bit of cold goes a long way.
After Vince went back to work from being home at lunch, I made my way over to the sewing room and got several more blocks done on Addie’s quilt.
It’s beginning to look more like a quilt than just random blocks on the design wall, huh? None of the blocks are in their final positions . . they’re just up there as I finish them.
Two days in the sewing room is still no guarantee that my quilting desire is back but I’m enjoying the time spent in there and there was even a quilt design that raced through my thoughts this afternoon. That’s a good sign!
