Today is the day Blue Bell is supposed to be coming to our town. This morning I had a doctor’s appointment, then went into town to get the oil changed and then back towards home to get the tires rotated. I’m thinking . . maybe . . Vince will decide he wants to make a quick trip to MO and I’ll have the car all ready for a road trip, but I’m not holding my breath on making that trip.
I passed Kroger twice and didn’t stop. I couldn’t keep it in the car while getting the tires done and didn’t want to backtrack in order to get it.
It’s hard to tell because of the reflections (I’m not used to such clean glass!) but this cooler was empty Sunday at United and I’m guessing it was awaiting the much anticipated arrival of Blue Bell today. I can’t remember for sure but I think Blue Bell has been gone since before United opened so they’ve probably never had it in stock at that store.
Vince was leaving to back to work after lunch and we had this conversation:
Vince: I have to go by the pharmacy after work. Do you need me to pick up anything?
Me: Blue Bell!
Vince: It isn’t going to be on sale. It will probably be $10 per carton.
Me: That’s ok. I would pay $20!
Vince: No! You would NOT pay $20!
I didn’t participate in any further discussion about how much I would pay for Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla but I’m thinking $50 to $75 would probably be my stopping spot about now.
There are two A&W Root Beers in the fridge just in case he comes home with ice cream. If so, dessert tonight will be root beer floats!

We’ve got it here so lemme know if you want it shipped same day. I could get it out tomorrow and would probably still be under the $50-75!! HAHA

Dh scored 2 cartons, ½ gallons of Homemade Vanilla!! Called me on the phone. We were giddy, told him to get home NOW. haha! It was 5.97 a carton and well worth every penny. Sooo good! We were thinking about you guys!

Wasn’t an old Blue Bell commercial tagline ” we eat all we can and sell the rest.”
It’s supposed to be in OKC today – didn’t stop to look for some, but I may need to cruise by a store after a meeting.
