Despite my confidence that a little rain and no wind shouldn’t cause any issues with electricity, it’s been on and off several times this morning so who knows what’s in store for us with our electricity. Without power, we won’t have cell phones or a home phone or internet (or lights or a cold Dr. Pepper or running water in the house!)
I’m not worried . . well, the cold Dr. Pepper is a bit of a concern . . but I don’t want you worrying about me if you don’t hear from me. In this weather, I am not driving to town to go to the library to use the internet.
Hopefully, those blinking lights were just a weird little happening and not an indication that our power is about to go off for good.

I have been thinking about you today! I have an app called Weather Bug that gives you radar…(like ME keeping an eye on YOUR weather will make a difference!) I am also watching Houston (my 83 yr old dad drove there from Austin to watch a West Point football game! I could STRANGLE HIM!) and the East Coast (son driving from Charlotte to Boston to sign on their new house). I am thinking I will be a WRECK today. I better go sew or bake. Stay dry…and hope the power stays on…

Hope the power stays on. Be safe and knit on!

If anyone is prepared it will be our Judy. Stay safe and dry. No suggestions for the four legged family members. Never knew a dog to love rain.
