Spinning Wheel Scheduled To Arrive Today

The spinning wheel I purchased from a friend is scheduled to be delivered today and I had a hard time sleeping last night . . I’m so excited. I have meals planned for the rest of the week and weekend that hardly require any of my time.

My friend sent a separate box with fiber and accessories. The wheel will arrive with the Woolee Winder so she sent me the original flyer and the original bobbins, along with extra bobbins, along with the Lazy Kate.

Here’s the fiber all dumped onto the floor . . beautiful fiber!

I can hardly wait to get started. I will start with undyed lesser expensive fiber til I an more confident with my spinning. The Loopy Ewe has some new fiber, Polwarth & Silk, and I have some of that ordered. There’s probably enough fiber here to keep me busy for a while!

Now, let’s just hope this is one of those days when UPS shows up fairly early so Vince will have time to help me unpack and set up my “new” Schacht Matchless spinning wheel!
