Everyone knows about the Texas Longhorn cows, with their really long horns. But . . do you kinda think this spider looks like it could be related.
That weird little thing was on one of the peach trees. I have no idea what kind of spider it is . . I know . . I could research it but I just thought it was worth sharing . . even though I don’t know what kind it is.

That’s weird looking and what’s worse, there was a white spider with the big round belly on my doorframe this morning. I squashed it real fast so I don’t know if the front legs looked like longhorns. If I see another one, I’ll tell it to go back to Texas.

funny — I found one very similar (except it was orange) dangling from a lamp in my living room in northern California, just last night! I meant to look it up, but forgot until now. I think it’s a DEINOPIDAE — net-casting spider.
