Fall Garden Update

A little rain and everything is sprouting . .

Fall Garden

Only problem is . . most of these are beans and I didn’t plant beans! These are from beans I planted in that area 2 years ago. And looks like a whole watermelon patch has sprouted but there won’t be enough time before a frost for any of this to produce anything.

Ants

I surely didn’t plant ants but they’ve set up an entire community.

Asparagus

The asparagus is doing great. I cut it every morning and then go back out before dinner and cut more because it grows so fast. We’re eating asparagus every night for dinner and loving it.

Soon we should have kale or spinach, maybe some lettuce, chard or beets, poking their little sprouts through the ground.  Exciting times in the garden . .
