A friend was looking for a bit of older fabric to finish a project and I happened to have it so I gave her 4 yards. She insisted on trading something to me but I said no . . I need numbers on my stash report . . do NOT give me any fabric! So I’m counting 4 yards as “used” even though it’s only out of my stash and into someone else’s used numbers.
Used this Week: 4&yards
Used year to Date:45.50 yards
Added this Week: 0 yards
Added Year to Date: 0 yards
Yards til Goal: 154.50 yards
Net for 2015: 45.50 yards used

Out of your stash is out of your stash – regardless of who uses it.

My friends keep threatening to raid my stash and I keep saying g I have a lot of fabric that hasn’t seen the light of day since we moved 10 years ago but I keep adding to my stash. I say come on over but they never do!!

Oh, Judy … I cannot help giggling … you “just happened to have” 4 yards of an older fabric in your stash for a friend. I wish I had friends like that!

Like Susan said: “It’s gone; it counts. I did that a month ago and gave 20 yards to my guild’s pay and take corner. What a relief to get rid of it!
