This project was dragging out way too long. I don’t known why . . I needed to use almost 4 skeins of the Cascade 220 yarn in order to meet the minimum 800 yard requirement. The first three skeins took forever it seemed but I believe it was Sunday evening when I began the 4th skein and by this morning, I was done!
I love that the back has a neat design so it’s reversible.
It’s done, submitted to The Loopy Ewe, and now I can start a new project.
Pattern: Dream Maker. It is well written and easy to memorize. It’s always nice to be able to put the pattern away and be able to knit without having to keep up with the pattern. Since it has four little ridge rows, I didn’t even have to count as I was going .. just count the ridge rows. But, there were a couple of places I made 3 ridge rows instead of 4 when I was visiting more than paying attention!
Yarn: Cascade 220 Superwash
Color: Straw

Nice! The pattern looks the same as one I made for my daughter when she was little…over 40 yrs. ago.

What a great blanky! I’m glad you used Superwash. I made an acrylic blanket for a friend’s baby. She already had lots go blankets and quilts from her family, but mine is the one the now toddler drags around. Cashmere may be lovely to knit, but it doesn’t work for babies. (Of course, I’m assuming this is a baby blanket. Forgive me if I’m wrong.)

Judy, I’ve looked at this pattern before and never really liked it in the pink, but I love it in the straw color you’ve chosen! I’ll be marking this one as a favorite, thanks for a different perspective. It’s just beautiful!

Love the design in your blanket. I may have to add that one to my list.
