Have you seen these?
They may have been around forever and I’m just now seeing them.
I’m so ready for a fire in the fireplace and roasted marshmallows. Heck, even with my dislike of chocolate, I might even make S’mores.
I’m just ready for summer to be over!

Don’t like s’mores with chocolate?! Gasp! They’re a staple camping food group for our family and close behind are banana boats. We’ve tried those giant marshmallows and we didn’t like them too much. We found they are too big and the center doesn’t cook before the outside gets burned to a crisp. However, if you like playing around with gooey marshmallow, you are able to slide the cooked crispy part off and then recook the inside maybe 2 times more. Hope you get a chance for a good fire soon. Keep cool.

I have seen giant square ones about the size of a half of graham cracker but haven’t tried them.

I don’t know about marshmallows, but on the news last night I saw that your ice cream is back on the market and will start showing up in stores soon!!

I want S’Mores too! AND summer to be over with……
Anne Simonot says
I’m sure summer is not nearly as hot here, but it’s been hot. Hot hot hot. Between heat & menopause, not a happy combo for me. Can’t wait for September.

I’d like it to cool down a tad but not WINTER!!! NOOOOO!! I hate the cold!!!

I found rectangular marshmallows this summer. They stay on the roaster fork better, are easier to get an even toast, and fit in the graham cracker perfect.

I think those marshmallows have been around for a several years as I remember them from our family gathering in WI in 2012. My grown kids think they’re great for s’mores, and one daughter just likes to snack on them. I’m not too much of a marshmallow fan though.

the big ones have been around for awhile but i haven’t tried them cuz they would mess up the proportions of a s’more. instead of chocolate, try a thin layer of pnut butter or nutella on the graham cracker – mmmmm! a slice of banana is a nice addition too, becomes like eating a warm sundae.
