Lakehouse is finished! This is the test knit for Laura Aylor that I started in April and didn’t finish on time but at least I finished it. Those twisted stitches were a bit of a pain but I guess when you consider how pretty this cardi turned out, it was worth the trouble. I am so in love with this one – I love cables and of course, I love lime green and of course, I love Madelinetosh yarn!
The color in the above photo is totally wrong. This is the real color.
Tomorrow morning I’ll get a picture outside and share one last photo before this one is put away for a cooler day. Almost 6 p.m. and the actual temp is a bit over 104º. Miserable!
The sweater is sport weight yarn (Madelinetosh Pashmina) so I will be able to wear it more than I would if it were a heavier weight yarn.
It will earn me points or the Sweater Free For All KAL at Eat, Sleep, Knit and it will also earn me the Sir Blocks A Lot badge since this is my 10th project started and finished in 2015 using ESK yarn.

That is gorgeous! I really like that “short-sleeve” version in the 2nd picture. Yes, I know that’s not what it’s meant to be, but I like it! Very pretty – with both types of sleeves!

Very pretty color and cables. You may have just designed a new look — a short-sleeved version for your next one — to be worn in warm climates (Texas)! lol
