It’s been a couple of weeks since I finished the knitting on Kynance Cove but yesterday, I finished weaving in the ends and got the blocking done. The buttons were already on but now . . it’s officially finished.
I have no idea why it took me so long to finish it. I seriously love the colors and I love the way it fits. I guess other projects just kept taking priority over this one.
The yarn is Madelinetosh DK and there’s nothing Madelinetosh that I don’t love but the Maple Leaf (yellowy green) makes me smile. I love that color!
The pattern is easy to follow, well written and I had no problems with it. I’ll be happy to wear this one a lot . . if ever it gets cold enough.
This one will earn me the Long Haul Badge (more than 9 months to complete) at Eat, Sleep, Knit.

Maybe you just drug it out that long to get that badge?!! 🙂 It’s really pretty and I KNOW it’ll get cold enough to wear it! 🙁 I hate the thought!!

Love this sweater. I know in the 100+ degree weather we are having it’s hard to imagine it ever getting cold again, but somehow it does and you will have to post a picture of you wearing this sweater. I won’t hold my breath waiting because I know that may not be until January or February LOL, but I will wait patiently for that to happen. great job!

Great job on that sweater. It looks so comfortable to wear too. You can come to Missouri and wear it before it gets cold in Texas!
