WARNING . . Gross Picture Alert!
I’ll write a lot so it’s way down.
We had hoped the new stray cat, Cat, would be a hunter/mouser. Darn .. I need more to say so this picture won’t be seen at the top!
Cat has a schedule. She’s waiting for us in the morning and wants to be fed. Then in the evening, just when we go to put the chickens up at almost dark, she comes up and wants to be fed again. I was concerned that we were feeding her too much and she wouldn’t hunt.
She hunts! She left this for us. She stood right by it and waited for us to come see what she had, then she ran off before we got too close. Good kitty, huh?
Dottie N. says
Yep, good kitty!
Theresa says
You can tell the cat values you when it tries to feed you. Good cat!
Vivian Oaks says
Cats won’t do that unless they like you!! 🙂 That’s a good thing!!
Rebecca in SoCal says
Aww…an offering!
And YES! She’s getting what you want her to get!
Joyce Wilson says
excellant.
I on the otherhand have a fluffy black and white kitty that waits patiently under the bird feeder most mornings until she does get impatient and stalks off with switching tale. She can’t figure out why the birds don’t come though she is sitting out in plain site under the feeder! Of course, I don’t want her to get the birds, but I have to chuckle at her!
LisaS says
Way to go, Cat!
Robin Crittenden says
excellent, she has accepted you and this is a thank you.
LINDA says
I’d say she has earned her keep. Good kitty
Sherry Moran says

She’s thanking you for the regular meals.
carol fun says
Good cat!… LOL though… on my Feedly page the picture was clearly displayed…. but it obviously didn’t keep me from clicking on the post.
Sherrill says
Oh good grief. I was all prepared for blood and guts!! Judy, it has to be a lot grosser than that to be considered truly gross…HAHA!
Susan says
With that warning, I had to come see. =) It’s a wonderful gift for you. LOL Before you know it, she’ll jump in your lap and purr, and knead your legs, making you a family member.
wanda jordan says
Yes it is a gift from him/her to you. Don’t be surprised if others things appear now too. Like SNAKES!!!!!! WE had one that left us gifts at the front door step. Always scared me to death due to the fact I wasn’t expecting it. After awhile it got better. Looks like a keeper cat to me.Scary no way good thing I say…
Eve in GA says
Good work, Cat!! Yahoo for the hunter/huntress!! 🙂
Dorothy Schreyer says
At least it was dead and OUTSIDE, my cat would bring his trophies inside for me to see. I had everything from half dead birds to lizards he would catch. I was lucky and my neighbor across the stair landing (this was in an apartment building) would come and remove them for me, as I am so not able to!
