Not to us but to 3M. Today is the celebration for 3M’s 50th year in Brownwood. They had catered lunch – yummy fajitas and all the trimmings, the shaved ice trucks, the 3M race car was on display and there were plant tours. There were probably other things going on and it was a big deal in town. Vince was helping out with the tours and all those who were helping were given these green shirts to wear.
I’m very thankful for 3M for the jobs they provide .. especially Vince’s! 🙂 I’m thankful that we were able to live in MO . . Chad would never have met Nicole had we not lived there. I’m thankful to be in Texas now. Even with all my moaning and complaining about not being in MO, in my head I know that Texas is a better place for us to be at this time in our lives.
I’m even more thankful that Vince, born to immigrant parents, realized the importance of education and hard work. Through the years, the “back to school” years, the moves, the job changes . . all have been a bit stressful but always worth it. I’ve tried to be a willing and supportive wife but I do feel like I sit home and play all day while he works hard and truly provides everything I need and pretty much everything I want.
So . . a huge thanks to Vince and 3M for so very much!

Judy, I adore you for being so aware of your husband’s job and importance and contribution to your life! So many women in your shoes do not even acknowledge their hard-working husbands. You work very hard also and keep Vince going. Thanks for being there for him.

I’ve been through Brownwood several times and had no idea there was a plant there. Yeah for that. Now can you tell me if there is a good bar there. If so I might stop there sometime time this fall.

Congratulations to 3M and to Vince as well. You are a very hard working wife and very supportive. This is very necessary for Vince to have been successful in his career too. I know he appreciates all you do to make his life so comfortable too.

I say you do anything but play all day. I think you and Vince are a winning couple! You both reap the rewards of having AND being an awesome spouse.
