Remember the lawn mower that Vince had fixed . .

The victory was short lived. This is the mower he uses to cut tall grass in areas where he can’t get the tractor and where he doesn’t want to use the new mower. Over the weekend, he went down both sides of the driveway where it’s close up against a fence and then he was going to cut a couple of passes on the outside of the garden fence to hopefully cut down on the grasshopper invasion but . . the lawn mower didn’t make it.

I rescued him in the RTV and towed it back to the house . . where it sits til he has time to work on it again. He thinks it’s some kind of belt.

At least the weeds along the driveway got cut. I was beginning to feel like I was driving through a jungle. With no rain in the forecast til late July, we probably won’t miss the old mower too much.
