When Chad was here, he was shocked at how many wasps we have. They really are everywhere but I told him . . it’s always something. The wasps leave and something else comes. He asked if I had wasp spray so I told him where it was. Next thing I knew, he had chased wasps all around the house and unfortunately, he had tried to drown them and this is what all my windows looked like.
He was lucky that my windows needed cleaning anyway. I had intended to clean them before they arrived and if I had, he would have been in big trouble. He offered to clean them but I told him no . . I’d do it when they left.
As soon as they left, I pulled off all the screens and began scrubbing screens and cleaning windows.
Before I could clean the inside of the windows, I needed to give the blinds a good scrubbing. I only got half the blinds cleaned so I only got half the inside windows clean. I would love to replace these blinds with plantation shutters, which are so much easier to clean, but they’re expensive and for now, I’m thinking the less I spend here, the better my chances of convincing Vince that we should sell this place and move back to MO some day. Wish me luck with that proposition!
