Addie walks around outside and says “I love this place!” I want to tell her I would love it a whole lot more if she was here all the time. This afternoon, she went out with me to give treats to the chickens.

We’re all having fun. Addie told me that she wants to stay here forever and I said GREAT but . . when she talked to Nana on the phone over the weekend, she cried because she wanted to see her so, I can’t have her all to myself but I’m loving my time with them.

She can be a typical, mouthy 2 year old but for the most part, she’s sweet and smart and so much fun to be around.

Maybe when she’s old enough to be in school, she can spend the entire summer with you on the farm. Wouldn’t that be some special memories for the both of you.

I too have a 2 year old mouthy Granddaughter, and I just love her spunk, her get up and go and her ethusiasm for life … she can be exhausting … but I wouldn’t be without her or her older sister 🙂

So very glad you are having this time with her. We are here in CA visiting our daughter and her family. The children are 6, 9, 12, and 14, and we had not seen them for 3 years. This is memory building time for us both. ENJOY
