Oh, what fun we’re having! Addie was so happy to see the balloons . . it made my unexpected trip to town so worth it. She ran around with the balloons tied to her wrist. She was happy to see me and wasn’t the least bit apprehensive about me holding her. The amount of time we spend on Facetime really helps!
Addie
We tried to let Speck stay in the house but he was confused by all the excitement, so we put him in the sewing room with Rita. After Addie went to bed, we brought Speck back over and let him sleep in the house but first thing this morning . . I mean right off the bat, he snapped at Addie. She wasn’t the least bit afraid of him. Yesterday I gave her a spray bottle and told her to spray him when he came at her barking. He had walked off and she was so ready to spray him, she kept saying “Here doggie! Come here doggie!” After he snapped at her this morning, he’s been banished to the sewing room for the remainder of their visit.

We went to The Runaway Train for lunch and the menus have desserts on the back. The first thing Addie saw was the milkshake. I said .. hey . . when you’re with Granny, if you want to skip food and have a shake, that’s fine with me.

We had a great lunch! Nicole always looks great in her pictures . . even with her eyes closed!

Addie decided what she was going to wear today and you can see . . it was the ballerina dress and she’s been twirling all day! Yes, we are enjoying every minute of our time together.

Aww, it looks like you are in heaven. So happy for you and thank you for sharing your joy with us. I got to see my baby last week. Her mom had to work and her planned babysitter was sick so GiGi and Gruncle got to. Being with her makes my heart smile and I can see yours is smiling too!

What a beautiful child! I have two grand boys and we have donut breakfast and then go swimming. I want to be remembered as a fun Nana (pronounced nay nay which is what my first grand boy could say). You have the right to spoil her in my opinion.
