Since I’m using the Android phone, and using Google photos, there were some old photos that showed up. Some of these I’m sure the long time readers will remember. They brought a smile to my face.
The boy I was sure was going to drive me crazy . . I learned a long time ago to pick your battles and that hair was a battle I chose not to pick but I wanted so badly to cut it while he was sleeping.
One icy afternoon, Chad was supposed to be getting the ice off the driveway. I hadn’t paid attention to what he was doing. We were eating dinner and I kept noticing cars stopping outside and looking towards our house. There were lights that came on at dusk that shined up on our house and made this look like some kind of really artistic scene. It was kinda cool but he exerted so much effort on the artwork that the driveway still had so much ice, we couldn’t get our cars out.
I walked out on our back deck one day (in MO) and there under the walnut trees was this deer . . perfectly framed.
And last . . old Speck stretched out in a sunny spot with his toys close by. That was pre-Rita, when he could leave his toys out without fear of having to share them.
All these pictures were taken in MO . . I know life goes on and all things move forward but for me, those were some good days . . except for that darned red tag guy! I lived in fear of a visit from him. Since I never got a red tag, I guess that should be a good memory too. It’s definitely something we laugh about these days.

What is a red-tag guy?

Yes, I agree..we need to revisit the red tag guy as I have no clue what you’re talking about but it sounds like it could be a hilarious story! And I think Chad’s hair looks good!!
