Rita’s Thundershirt should be here tomorrow. I was hoping it would get here today but it didn’t. This is Accuweather’s radar.
With us only having well water, if the power goes out, we don’t have any water unless we fire up a generator and we don’t usually do that right off the bat so . . we’ve both had our showers. The dogs have fresh water. Several half gallon jars are filled with water. There’s a solar powered well that will give us water when the sun shines but . . Rita . . she is not going to like this at all.
Keeping my fingers crossed that it won’t be as bad as it looks! Heading outside to try to round up the chickens that haven’t gone in for the night.

Wishing you all the best tonight…..we got some of the LOUD thunderboomers from a SLOW moving storm last night – woke us up around 11:30 and they continued until 3 this morning….We had a real light show and a LOT of noise (at times it sounded as if windows were going to break – probably a VIVID imagination from a sleep deprived brain). Fortunately, aside from a lot of noise, we were lucky.

Stay safe and I hope it isn’t nearly as bad as it looks. If you’d like, send some of the wet stuff to the Phoenix area. We can always use it!

Well, I have to admit I’m one who had never heard of a “red tag man” before; but then you really got me with the “Thundershirt”. I’m happy to report that I googled it and now know what it is … I hope it works.
Stay safe!

We got 2.20″ about an hour ago within just a few minutes… with hail of course. I’m sure my poor little pepper & tomato plants that I just got planted yesterday are either drowning underwater or plastered into the mud if they survived the hail.

We live in south Fort Worth. Got 4 inches last night. Can’t believe all this rain.

Rita won’t like the thunder, but at least she is inside with you and not out in the rain. Our stray beagle was terrified of thunder. I’m think it was from living outside alone for so long.

We were right there ahead of that line just like you! Think it got to us around 10:20 last night and lasted a few hours. I’m just hoping people use caution and don’t drive into high water–already seen several high water rescues on the news this morning!! 🙁
