With Laura’s latest test knit, which is supposed to be finished by 5/18 (by midnight I hope!), I had figured on Monday afternoon that if it took me 2 days to get each sleeve done, and 2 days to get the collar done, then I should make the deadline. I’m happy to say that it took me 1-1/2 days to get the first sleeve done.
Since I know I can get the second sleeve done in 2 days, I started the collar this morning and am hoping to have it done at least by Friday morning. The rain and mud have given me a chance to sit inside and knit and while I’m probably about to lose my potatoes due to too much rain .. the good news is . . my sweater should get finished by the deadline.

This will be a beautiful sweater. All the rain is really going to help the lake levels.

Pretty soon you won’t be able to think of knitting or wearing a knitted garment because of the heat. It’s a bit sad that the last few things you’ve knitted are set aside to wait for cooler weather.
Psst: I think the date in the first paragraph is supposed to be 5/18.

Thanks! You’re right — fixed the date.
