Last weekend, Addie spent her first weekend away from Chad and Nicole. Addie stayed at her other grandma’s and they live out in the country where Addie has a little bunny she named Clover, and several baby chicks. I love the look on her face in the picture below. It’s ice cream all over her face.
Nicole has the cutest muscular long legs and Addie has legs just like hers.
I think it’s cute that she has her book beside her . . not sure what she was doing with the sticks but look at her using that left hand . . for everything!
She’s watching her Papa in the field. She definitely loves that man!
Less than a month til I get to see them and I can’t wait!
Oh . . and while Chad and Nicole had their romantic weekend alone . . guess what they did! Went fishing up some river. Nicole said they really went too far for one day and then the water was too shallow and the boat motor got rocks in it (I’m not sure that’s exactly what she told me but it was something like that) and they didn’t get back to shore til after midnight! I asked if she was scared (I would have been) and she said “No! We had so much fun!” I think she missed having Addie around though. Those first times without them can be hard.
When they come here, I told her if she and Chad want to go off and spend a couple of days alone, I won’t mind if they leave Addie here . . I would love it!

If Addie didn’t love animals, she wouldn’t be your granddaughter!
What a cutie!

Sounds like with all the alone time, #2 will be along. We waited 7 years for our 2nd and last.

She is such a pretty little girl. It really does my heart good to see her enjoying herself playing outdoors, and brings back memories of my childhood. I used to ride on the tractor with my grandpa sometimes, and those are such good times to remember.
