Darn! I forgot the yarn report. It wasn’t a good one so maybe I should have just kept on going and never mentioned it.
The yarn I added is a new yarn to Eat, Sleep, Knit. It is listed as sport weight and it’s called “Rustic Sport” sport by Northbound Knitting. This yarn was purchased to make RhombingAround. Now that I’ve read a little more about it, they’re saying it knits up as a worsted weight yarn. The fact that it’s described as “rustic” and long lasting should have told me it was not going to be soft and snuggly and unless there’s a major transformation after washing, that makes this yarn about 500% softer than it is now, it will not be used on anything worn directly next to the skin.
I love the colors and I think it would make a great workhorse cardigan so I will find a pattern that’s better suited for and will order something else to make RhombingAround . . some day.

I was wondering what the soft factor would be for that yarn. You’ll have to find something to use them on because the colors are lovely together.
My RhombingAround yarn just arrived a couple hours ago! Thanks again for helping me decide.

I bet that knits up nice. I had some Targhee years ago that had a similar look, I called it “sprongie.” Once knit & washed it bloomed & got so soft, it wore well & wasn’t prone to felting. LOL, I’m sitting at work and my last ball of Targhee is sitting 2 ft away with a hat started on it, I forgot it was here!
