The Sandpiper Shawl is finished. This will be one of my favorite shawls. I love grabbing a shawl on cool days or if we’re going to a restaurant (or anywhere) where cold air might be blowing on me. It’s hard to enjoy a meal when I’m shivering! A shawl can be wrapped around my shoulders or spread across my lap.
The shawl Laura made, she used one color for the body, a second color for the eyelet row and a third color for the border. I’m thinking I might make another one and use one color for the body and border, and a second color for the eyelet border.
There’s still time to sign up for the KAL in Laura’s Ravelry group and make yourself a Sandpiper, along with others doing the project.
Laura used Tosh Merino Light in hers and I’m thinking I can dig through my stash and come up with enough of that in colors I love so I can make a second one without having to buy yarn.

Very pretty. The blue is very pretty. I think your edge color choice just came down to personal taste as any of the options you showed would have been lovely.
