I’m moaning and complaining because I had looked at the weather a dozen times and was so happy because there were no nights below 40º. We bought seedlings today but thank goodness we didn’t plant them because I just looked at the weather again and it’s going to be 39 tonight and towards the end of March, they’re saying 35 one night.
Birthday Cake
I’m sitting here ranting and I said “Can you believe this? It’s going to be below 40º the end of March? What do you think about that?”
Vince’s response: I just want to eat my cake!
I just want the weather forecast to change and show all 40º+ nights!
But . . it was a good cake!

Oh Judy! I’ll just trade you some weather! I’m moaning & groaning that it
was …… can you believe this ~ 98′ & + in Southern CA today! I just do not like these extremes in weather, especially on the hot side!! Usually it’s overcast & cool in March! Although I’m probably about 35 mi from downtown Los Angeles but I’m so concerned about my friends running in the LA Marathon tomorrow especially in this heat. So send us some cooler temps asap! Wouldn’t it be loverly to barter or trade a little cold vs heat degrees?

Do you have your greenhouse set up, or it that still a future project? If it’s up, will your seedlings be safe in there? I wish it was warm enough here to start working in the garden. Of course between all the rain we’ve had, and my lack of free time lately, I wouldnt be getting much done anyway!

Agree – it has been in the high 80’s and into the 90’s here in Palm Springs. So far, we have not turned on the AC. It is usually April before we do that. The weather has been beautiful…but it is not spring yet (for a few more days). I think we are going straight from winter (what winter) to summer. I also hate daylight savings. I don’t like to cook until it is dark out. I am a total morning person and DH sleeps in late every day (unless he has a tee time)!
